Vehicle theft: A resident in the 3200 block of Shorewood Drive who rented out his vehicle on a short-term basis hadn’t received the car back after the return deadline. The renter refused to return the victim’s calls.

Theft: A resident in the 7800 block of Southeast 75th Place believes that movers stole her ring.

Theft: In the 7800 block of West Mercer Way, a resident’s mailbox lock was broken and mail they knew to be delivered was missing.

Dec. 8

Fraud: A resident in the 4200 block of Crestwood Place mistakenly called a scam phone line and was convinced to transfer $10,000 from their bank account.

Dec. 7

Theft: Someone broke a mailbox and swiped mail in the 4800 block of East Mercer Way.

Dec. 6

Vehicle prowl: In the 2700 block of 76th Avenue Southeast, a subject smashed a vehicle window overnight and stole belongings inside.

Malicious mischief: Broken mailboxes were located in the 4800 block of 90th Avenue Southeast.

Dec. 5

Theft: Shoplifters fled a business with two carts full of goods in the 2700 block of 77th Avenue Southeast.
