Vehicle prowl: In a possible attempt to steal a vehicle in the 7800 block of North Mercer Way, a subject punched a victim’s door keylock to gain access to the vehicle and damaged the ignition.

Dec. 2

Theft: Customers witnessed a subject shoplifting at a business in the 3000 block of 78th Avenue Southeast.

Theft: A subject swiped numerous products from a grocery store in the 7800 block of Southeast 28th Street.

Nov. 30

Mail theft: Someone pried open a mailbox and stole items in the 7600 block of East Mercer Way.

Burglary: A resident in the 2800 block of 75th Avenue Southeast noticed someone near their storage unit, which had a broken lock.

Nov. 29

Vehicle damage: In the 6100 block of 92nd Avenue Southeast, a resident discovered slight damage to her vehicle. It was unclear at the time if the damage was due to malicious mischief or from a small accident.

Nov. 28

Fraud: A telephone scammer convinced a victim in the 2200 block of 78th Avenue Southeast to transfer more than $5,000 from the victim’s Venmo account.
