Two Mount Baker

The Mount Baker junior crew varsity open weight eight man boat took first place at the Northwest Regional Championships in Vancouver, Wash., on May 21 and 22.

Four boys from Mercer Island rowed in the open weight eight, senior Jesse Johnson, junior Dane Robbins, senior Amit Levy and junior James Olson. The teams varsity open weight four also qualified, but will not compete since three out of the four athletes are also in the weight eight boat.
