Dembele will discuss Women’s Dignity School at Nov. 4 Rotary meeting

Ibrahim Dembele will discuss “Women’s Dignity School: A Legacy of Skills and Leadership” at the Rotary Club of Mercer Island’s meeting on Nov. 4 at the Mercer Island Community and Event Center, 8236 SE 24th St.
The main meeting begins at 12:30 p.m.; socializing is from noon to 12:30 p.m. Guests are always welcome and there is no fee to attend. A catered lunch is available for $25, or attendees can bring their own meal.
Dembele is the executive director of Women’s Dignity School, a nonprofit organization founded in Kayes, Mali, with active community engagement in Olympia.
The school empowers women of all backgrounds through hands-on trade education and leadership development. Under Dembele’s leadership, it continues to serve as a welcoming and inclusive space for women seeking opportunity and growth. In addition to his work with the school, Dembele serves as the treasury director at the Washington State Employment Security Department, where he oversees trust funds supporting workers and families across the state.
