Nov. 12

Warrant arrest: The King County Sheriff’s Office (KCSO) contacted a subject who had an active misdemeanor warrant out of Mercer Island. The Mercer Island Police Department confirmed this and KCSO booked the subject into the South Correctional Entity (SCORE) jail in Des Moines.

Nov. 13

Warrant arrest: After making a traffic stop in the 2200 block of West Mercer Way, Mercer Island police discovered that the vehicle operator was driving with a suspended license and had an active KCSO warrant for third-degree escape. Police booked the driver on the warrant. The passenger was cited with failing to obey, possession of another person’s ID and failure to identify themself.

Nov. 14

Warrant arrest: In the 8200 block of Southeast 30th Street, police pulled over a driver for a defective tail light and learned that the subject had a third-degree theft warrant out of Federal Way. The driver was arrested and booked into King County Jail.

Warrant arrest: A subject was re-booked into the SCORE jail on a third-degree theft warrant out of Mercer Island.

Forgery: A resident in the 6800 block of 84th Avenue Southeast reported that he and his mother couldn’t access money from their NEXV cryptocurrency account.

Property damage: Someone broke off bathroom door handles at a park in the 8100 block of Southeast 40th Street.

Nov. 17

Traffic violation: Police stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation in the 7500 block of westbound Interstate 90 and the driver fled the scene when asked for identification.
