MI Historical Society event will focus on ‘Liberty’s Children’

The Mercer Island Historical Society and Mercer Island Library will present “Liberty’s Children” at 6:30 p.m. on Nov. 25 at the library.

Greg Emerson, a member and docent with the Sons of the American Revolution, will be speaking about the role young people played in the Revolutionary War. They were very effective as spies, couriers and scouts. He is bringing artifacts from the war for independence as well as appearing in a color guard costume from that time period.
