Nov. 25

Theft: Someone stole an electric bike worth approximately $1,677.36 from a school campus in the 9100 block of Southeast 42nd Street. There are no suspects, and school security said they have possible video footage of the incident.

Theft: A resident in the 9100 block of Fortuna Drive reported that someone stole a front personalized license plate from their vehicle. The rear plate was also removed.

Nov. 26

Theft: Someone stole a package containing a $275 cooler from an apartment complex in the 2400 block of 76th Avenue Southeast. There is no suspect information available. Police were waiting on possible video footage.

Nov. 27

Fraud: A subject attempted to use a counterfeit $100 bill at a business in the 3000 block of 78th Avenue Southeast. The bill was kept for destruction.

Nov. 29

Theft: A subject was taken into custody and booked into Issaquah City Jail for previously damaging a metal display case and stealing cough medicine from a business in the 7800 block of Southeast 28th Street. Employees of the business identified the subject as matching the description of the offender for a previous theft at another local business.

Dec. 1

Dog bite: In the 6800 block of Island Crest Way, a park visitor reported that her dog was bitten by an off-leash dog. The woman noted that this same scenario occurred with the same off-leash dog a few years ago and she didn’t make a report. She was incidentally bitten while trying to separate the attacking dog from hers. The case was referred to King County Animal Control.

Dec. 2

Stolen license plates: A Brook Bay Road resident received a bill from the Washington State Department of Transportation for tolls charged to license plates left with his bank for disposal after selling his car in 2022. Department of Licensing told the man to make a report regarding the stolen plates.

Property damage: After a shopping cart was possibly pushed into a car, a subject got into another car and drove off from the parking lot of a business in the 7800 block of Southeast 28th Street. The victim — whose car sustained $2,500 in damage — took down the license plate number from the fleeing car.
