MIHS musicians march through the streets of London

The Mercer Island High School marching band performed in the 40th New Year’s Day London Parade. The 206-member band joined 15 other United States high school and college bands and a bevy of other performers at the prestigious event in the center of London as they marched past Westminster Abbey, the Tower of London, Big Ben, the Houses of Parliament, Trafalgar Square and other iconic sites.
