Burglary: Someone broke into a resident’s storage locker in the 2500 block of 81st Avenue Southeast and stole about $1,500 in backpacking gear.
Jan. 1
DUI: A subject under the age of 21 was cited for driving under the influence at a park in the 5500 block of Island Crest Way and released to their parents.
Jan. 2
DUI: A driver was arrested for driving under the influence and medically released at the intersection of Southeast 72nd Place and Island Crest Way.
Burglary: Someone broke into a resident’s storage locker in the 2500 block of 81st Avenue Southeast and stole about $1,700 worth of snowboarding items.
Jan. 3
Break-in: Someone broke into a resident’s storage unit in the 3200 block of Shorewood Drive. It is unknown if anything was stolen.
Jan. 4
Theft: A suspect stole a $2,000 electric bike and fled northbound in the 3000 block of 78th Avenue Southeast.
Jan. 5
Vehicle prowl: Someone prowled two vehicles and broke windows in the south parking lot of a park in the 8400 block of Southeast 26th Street. About $5 cash was stolen.
Theft: A subject stole two bottles of laundry detergent valued at $52.92 from a market in the 2700 block of 77th Avenue Southeast. Police contacted him at the park and ride where he was cited and released. The stolen items were returned to the market.
