Jan. 6

Theft: Someone stole $114 worth of clothing from a mailbox in the 8800 block of Southeast 48th Street.

Theft: A suspect stole various unknown items from a clearance shelf at Walgreens in the 7700 block of Southeast 27th Street. The suspect fled the scene and wasn’t located.

Jan. 7

Theft: A subject was arrested and booked into Issaquah City Jail after stealing laundry detergent, lotion and a pan from a business in the 3000 block of 78th Avenue Southeast.

Theft: Someone swiped an $863 e-bike from an unsecured storage room in the 9000 block of West Shorewood Drive. The bike was not secured with a lock, and other cut bike locks were observed in the storage room.

Jan. 8

Arrest: Officers arrested a driver for third-degree driving while license suspended. Police took the subject into custody following a traffic stop in the 4000 block of Island Crest Way. The driver was booked into Issaquah City Jail. The misdemeanor charge can result in fines and a criminal record, according to the Washington State Attorneys website, which adds, “This charge is often due to unpaid tickets or a lapse in insurance coverage.”

Jan. 10

Vehicle prowl: Someone prowled a motor vehicle in the 8400 block of Southeast 26th Street, shattering a window and stealing a purse. The credit cards within the purse were used fraudulently at Renton QFC. The suspect was wearing a mask during the attempted transaction.

Jan. 11

Warrant: A subject was re-booked into the South Correctional Entity (SCORE) jail in Des Moines on a Mercer Island Police Department warrant for third-degree driving while license suspended.
