MIPA presents Preschool and Activities Fair on Jan. 31

Mercer Island Preschool Association (MIPA) will present a free Preschool and Activities Fair from 10 a.m. to noon Jan. 31 at Northwood Elementary School commons.

The fair offers a variety of local preschool programs and extracurricular activities for both preschoolers and elementary-aged children.

There will be special presentations by The Children’s Dance Conservatory/Island Youth Ballet, Zen Dragon Martial Arts, Goldfish Swim School, Nancy Stewart Music, Mercer Island Martial Arts, Music Together and more.

“Celebrating the diversity of early learning and activities in our community, Mercer Island is proud to be home to a rich and vibrant early childhood community, and this year’s MIPA Preschool and Activities Fair is a wonderful reflection of that diversity. We are excited to host 31 tables in total, bringing together families, educators, and activity providers all in one place,” MIPA said.

The fair will feature 13 preschool programs representing a wide range of languages and cultural backgrounds, including French, Spanish and Chinese, as well as different educational philosophies and learning environments.
