Volunteers needed for COVID booster vaccine clinic

The Mercer Island School District and Costco are sponsoring an updated Pfizer COVID-19 booster vaccine clinic for youngsters ages 5-11 from 7:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Nov. 19 at Northwood Elementary School, 4030 SE 86th St.
Volunteers are needed for two shifts: 7:30-10 a.m. and 9:45 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Tasks will include: checking health attestations; confirming parent consent, student names and ages; helping with traffic flow; and monitoring people when they are in the recovery area.
